Introducing Manou Kersting seems redundant. He shines in Crimiclowns, Matryoshka’s, Undercover (now on one) and countless other productions.
But he also has an unknown side that he is now coming out with: painter. An actor is compelled to accomplish a project in group. But for Manou, working on a painting is an adventure that he can experience undisturbed by himself in his studio. Time literally stands still, and the canvas does let it know at some point that it is finished…. it is a totally different experience than acting or playing music.

As a visual artist, Manou trained himself. He technically bases himself mainly on what he saw and learned in his youth from his father who – besides being a violinist – was also an abstract visual artist and co-founder of G58.
